Mandate: The Canadian Bible Society exists to promote and encourage, without doctrinal note or comment, the translation, publication, distribution and use of the Scriptures through Canada and Bermuda, and to cooperate with the United Bible Societies (UBS) in its worldwide work.

The icon in our brand identity is how we present ourselves to all those who rely on us. It’s what makes us visually unique in the world we live in and it continues to be grounded in the timeless tradition that is rooted in the parable that Jesus told of the sower. The sower embodies the revelation of God and exemplifies the action of sharing His life-giving Word. The seeds in the icon symbolize the four key areas that we focus on – Bible translation, publication, distribution, and engagement.
